I agree. It's really an awesome episode. I could have written a ton more about it, but what I have already took me all day :P
And yeah, Jensen. Sometimes I really wish he would get recognized in some official capacity for how amazing he is...but then, I like the thought that he's our little secret too :P
Your commentary on the commentary makes me want to buy the boxed set and listen to Kripke et al. to squee about praise Jensen over and over again. Because that man has serious talent, yo.
Also, I'd like to add that I read this in class and at least three people asked me what I was grinning madly about. I couldn't tell them that I was watching an episode of Supernatural in my head as I'm reading an episode recap, instead of listening to a lecture about the many wonders of the histology of the ear. >.>
The histology of the ear, eh? I don't even know what that means.
I'm glad I made you smile! I love listening to commentary - especially Supernatural commentary, because everyone always has such great senses of humour. Sadly, this is the ONLY episode with commentary this year. :(
But yeah, if you REALLY want to hear someone praise Jensen over and over again - Kripke does it a ton on the S2 DVD of What Is And What Should Never Be. :)

Robert Pickton killed a bunch of women in Vancouver and hid their bodies at his pig farm. Disturbing... and once again, creepy.

I think maybe it was just a coincidence? Who knows with Edlund though...
