Fresno City College Renaissance Festival
The Town Criers played at Fresno City College Renaissance Faire this past weekend. Fresno is more than three hours away from me, and I went into the weekend after a long week of late nights and early mornings. Guns, gold, money, and paper.
I have to tell you, briefly about my job. I am a route coordinator for the Oakland Air Courier division of Brinks, the armored truck company. I work in a vault and do paperwork, mostly, to facilitate the movement of currency and jewelry from OAK or SFO (airports) to locations here in the Bay area. Diversions and Playthings
I started cutting fabric for my greatcoat Sunday afternoon. It was a little discouraging. I underestimated the size I’d need, forgetting that a coat/jacket is supposed to go over other layers. Renaissance Symposium
I went to the Renaissance Symposium this weekend in Palo Alto. Hexadamsel and I decided early on that this would be our “mini-vacation” so we splurged and got a room for Friday and Saturday night.
