This is going to sound stupid, but is there a better way to run on a treadmill so that your feet aren't making such a loud "slapping" noise, causing people 2-3 machines away to stare at you? No one else at the Natatorium seems to have this problem. I'm the only one with hooves, I guess.

I try to, but I've always habitually run on my toes since I was little... I have to say I look pretty funny when I run

There might be something wrong with your running form and how your foot might hit the belt but i promise you it seems a lot louder to you then it does to other people. They may just be staring at you for other reasons.

If you pray to the carb faerie she might help you.

make sure you aren't hitting your feet flat to the treadmill (does that make sense). just run or jog like you would off of a treadmill.
