Quintessential Seattle Family Day

In the stress of our move and transition, we took the kids to the Seattle Center to play in the fountain. It was packed with families and couples of all ages, ethnicities and sizes all having fun in the sun under the benevolent gaze of the Space Needle. Jimmy Hendricks blasting through the speakers was the perfect finishing touch.

Yes! I just found out that one of my former students is presenting a workshop at the convention. I have to see my singing baby all grown up so pretty and smart! She's doing her thing on Friday and Saturday am. I'm looking at going on Saturday so I can attend the movement workshop, too. If it all works out, I should be free for lunch.
