There is something exciting about selling stock.

When I was laid off from my job at Fremont, the stock was only worth around $3.00. Maybe a little more, a little less. It has slowly been increasing, and I have been selling bits here and there when the need arose. Most of it, I sold for around $13.00 a share. I have about 93 shares left and the stock has risen to over $20/share. I am trading ( Read more... )

I got a similar thing from my old company, it was quite exciting to wake up in the morning and think "I wonder how my shares are doing?" Made me feel quite the executive!

Sorry about responding to this ancient post, but I didn't want to confuse people by replying to something more recent. I don't know how long comments in sd_anon are going to be screened, and no doubt I'll forget to answer this by the time it's unscreened.

While those categories are called "slander per se," they applies equally to both written and oral defamation, as long as it meets the other elements of each. So the slander per se categories can be used in a libel case too. Those are just the types of defamatory statements that are always presumed to be damaging.
