When I was laid off from my job at Fremont, the stock was only worth around $3.00. Maybe a little more, a little less. It has slowly been increasing, and I have been selling bits here and there when the need arose. Most of it, I sold for around $13.00 a share. While those categories are called "slander per se," they applies equally to both written and oral defamation, as long as it meets the other elements of each. So the slander per se categories can be used in a libel case too. Those are just the types of defamatory statements that are always presumed to be damaging.
