They just put us on a two hour delay cause of rain. WTF! Are we going to melt?!?

Thinking positively, at least I have to plan for two less hours. SWEET!

Right now I am stupefied at the stupidity of some people, or in this case, some places.  The last two weeks we have had big winter storms.  We are talking ice, snow, freezing rain, sleet, the works.  Well both last week and this week every weather man said two days ahead of time that the storms were going to be a "wintry mess."  Logically, one ( Read more... )

Samm and I spend the ENTIRE day cleaning the ENTIRE house. We did sleep in and then got breakfast but when we got home (about noon) we got right to work. We finished cleaning and organizing my stuff and his stuff in the basement. Then got to work on the kitchen and bedroom. I scrubbed the kitchen from top to bottom. ... when you have naps! I have recently rediscovered the wonders of nap time after my sickness. Naps are better then sunshine and rainbows. I have also become the king of 2+ hour naps. I was always a 20 minute napper but some where along the line I developed the ability to nap for hours. Go me!

So this week was the most backwards week I never expected. My prediction was that work was going to be unbearably stressful and the only thing to keep me sane was large amounts of social fun and excitement. I had a softball game on Monday. So in all my years in school, I didn't realize that to be really excited about the end of the school year, you need to be a teacher. Even though I am running summer school and will be at school all summer, I am so happy that school is out. So happy in fact that I am getting outta here for the weekend and going up to Chicago!!
