I don't know where to put this in the community. I saw your plug in the LJ newsletter and had to come and check it out.

I live in a small town just out of Christchurch and have lived in Christchurch and have spent of of my life in and around Christchurch. I also have many family and friends there and we have all been affected by the quake. I just want to THANK EVERYONE so much from the bottom of my heart for all the love, support and money. My precious hometown is in complete ruins and it is going to take a long time for us to all get over this and back on our feet. We can't do it on our own and the help from the world is amazing and it really gives us hope and the strength to try and get through this.

Again, I just want to thank everyone once again. I nor the other residents of Canterbury will ever be able to repay your generosity to you but I just hope that by me telling you that it is really appreciated and every little bit counts. Our city will be rebuilt brick by brick, life by life thanks to the generosity of people like you.

I intend to make the same craft offer on help_japan that I made here my question is would it be against a rule to edit my orgional post to reflect this? I had a couple of bidders on this, that way the one that didnt win may get a chance over there.
