Those are the only charities we're accepting because they are vetted and well rated and are collecting specifically for Christchurch relief.

Can I donate to Red Cross NZ, but specify the money for the General Fund Appeal instead of the 2011 Earthquake Appeal? Putting the money in the General Fund means it can be used to help Christchurch and other parts of New Zealand or overseas, as Red Cross NZ sees fit.

You may send them to anyone. Many people chose to send them to their offeror. If you send them to a friend just let your offeror know to whom you send them.
