Nature's Nobility? The book on pureblood geneology? I don't think I've ever come across it in Grimmauld, but I imagine it's hidden somewhere in Mrs. Black's old room or perhaps Kreacher knows where it is. Since Harry can command him, maybe Harry can instruct Kreacher to bring it to us and not ever speak a word of it afterwards.

I only wish it were that easy, Remus.
According to Severus, this first edition of Nature's Nobility is more accurate than any of the other editions published afterwards. Its importance must have been known if it was hidden, and hidden it well. My greatest fear is that those who have hidden have taken the secret of the book's location with them to their graves.
This is dismal news indeed. We all need to go to Grimmauld to find it posthaste. Time is of much importance here, Remus. I'm nearly frantic with worry as it is!

But I thought I'd read in the papers that Sally-Anne Perks had died in the attack on Azkaban...
No matter, I suppose. I don't know about this edition of Nature's Nobility, but if he wants it I know I don't want him to have it. Louisa and I will stop over after work to help you look.

I too thought the girl had perished in the Azkaban attack, but she is very much alive. I could only imagine how Sally-Anne must be feeling at the moment. She was scared that night, and so am I, for that matter. So much hangs in balance now, and I cannot even think of where to start the search for that book, Marietta.
Hexed Private to the Order...also hexes the above private too! hee!helping_hestiaJanuary 31 2006, 09:59:39 UTC
I do not wish to think that this is a sort of trap, Hermione. Both Severus and Sally-Anne have risked so much as it is.
In fact, I believe the intentions behind Severus' actions in this are good, and that he is trying to help us. If you knew of what he did at Ballymena, you might also find it hard to think his intentions are anything but well-meaning.

Well what did he do at Ballymena then, if you don't mind me asking? I don't understand why it can'tbe a trap. We can't really know what their intentions are, can we?

A fair amount of Aurors that were presumed "dead" were not actually dead. They were all promptly revived after the battle's end. Further questioning revealed that all have been battling Severus before they were knocked down with some spell many thought was the Killing Curse.
He spared lives that night, my own included. Why would he go out of his way to do that if he was against us in the first place?

I don't know... this doesn't sound right. Where has she been? Why would Snape have her?
H-have you checked her forearm? I mean... how do we know this isn't a trap of some sort?
