I love reading these stories - they're like a little window into your crazy New York life. Keep posting them!

Also... wow, $20,000...

P.S. 漢字も出来ているんじゃないか!すごい ^.^

I've been writing a lot more lately. So much vessels of inspiration lately that can't be done through photography alone.

i once knew a girl who sold an egg, bought a house! i thought it was brilliant for the right person with the right mentality, but not if you're not down with the associated issues and definitely weird emotional repercussions. i dunno, i wouldn't do it...but it's interesting to hear about women who DO do it (i said do-do!)

anyways, i'm off to see bruce springsteen, squee!!! i want to see yo fine ass like real soon, byotch!

That's a great story. I like the descriptions of your body and its potential as a sort of genetic material factory, assessing its components, and how that material might mesh with genetic material from another human being, comparing your own body and its viability to those of other women in your family. "The jacket of fat that lines my belly" is a wonderful image.

Thanks; I've been in the midst of writing other pieces, both short and long.

I've had a little spare tire on my tummy that I've never been able to burn off. I sometimes call it my "baby blanket". =)

It wasn't too long ago that you wrote that very nice piece about a subway experience.

Little pads of cushion on women's bellies can be quite alluring, and I should stop thinking about them, right now.
