I just found out last night that a friend from the boat I was on was in a motorcycle wreck and died this past Sunday. We weren't best friends or anything, but we hung out a little on deployment and he was a really good guy. The way I found out is kinda shitty. OMG!! Did anyone else see "Step Brother" yet? It was soooo freakin' hilarious!! I have never heard the f-word used in so many colorful ways...oh wait, "Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back" was pretty good with that too. It is definitely a must-see. -

Is it me or does Wall-E from the new Disney / Pixar movie look an aweful lot like "Johnny 5" from the movie Short Circuit? I would not have noticed until we were watching some movie on TV and there was a short scene from Short Circuit in it. Logan said, "Hey look, it's Wall-E!". I went to the see the Orthopedist yesterday and I did not hear what I hoped to hear. I have to stay off of my ankle for another 6 weeks. I was like, "DAMMIT!". I am so sick of these crutches!! -
Wish Me Luck!
Well, I go to the Orthopedist here in a few minutes to see how my ankle has healed. I really hope she says I can start physical therapy because I am so Freakin' tired of hobbling around on crutches. It's been about a month and a half now!! -
It's So Good To Be Back!!
I just flew in yesterday (and, boy, are my arms tired) and it's good to finally be home!! I had to fly back one week early bacause my dumb-ass broke my ankle with only two weeks left of deployment.
