Hello to everyone in V day land, from the snowed on, but currently thawed out south. One day of icicles--I actually slipped and fell in the Dollar store parking lot--and now the snow is hiding out in the shade on the back porch.

I managed to overcome my neuroses and host a dinner at a local restaurant. It was fun. I didn't tell people it was my birthday tho.

So Bruce and I are complaining about how Christmas isn't as much fun as it used to be. I had just gotten back from buying some necessities in a store where the worst canned music was playing so I wasn't happy. We tried to come up with things we like about it.
