I heard the screams first. Not so unusual (sadly)... She screams quite a lot. He was yelling, too. The fight progressed onto the sidewalk. She was carrying her not-quite-toddler on her hip, and screaming at him something awful. The neighbors generally consider her to be off her nut, and I can't disagree. This very soon was followed by their divorce.
Teaching where I teach I am thankful for these laws, but what sucks is that child services are so overworked that unless there are more calls and issues, that poor child will be back with both of those nutcases.
