This story took me over a month to write (I wrote Leaving Vegas after I started it, actually) and I really struggled to get through it. So it's especially gratifying to get such great comments. I was working through a lot of character stuff with this one and I really wanted to get the tone right. I'm happy it worked for you. Really happy.
