Also, WOW.

There are *so* many things I like about this fic. The character voices are perfect (I've got to ask - are you a Pom? You get Cal's use of British idiom just right - something I don't often see in American writers). There's the way way you manage to stretch out the moments that happen between the two of them to the point that I'm actually holding my breath as I read. And, of course, there's TEH HAWT (and dear gods, is it ever)

On that note: it's unusual for me to find a sweet, romantic fic hot... normally I need a fair amount of darkness mixed in with my smut before I start feeling my stomach flipping somersaults as I read it. But the way you've written both of the sex scenes in this piece, and oh-holy-mother-of-god, the part where Cal's talking dirty near the end... (The brain was the biggest sex organ, after all, and Cal knew how to work it. - nyuh-huh!)... let's just say I'm really, *really* looking forward to reading anything else you might end up writing in this fandom

I know what you mean about darkness... I'm a big fan of that as well. I'm glad that this fic pulled you in despite the relative sweet/romantic nature of the story.

Very hot and seemed to progress in a realistic way! It's a nice change from fics that have everything going fine right from the start. lol
