I cannot believe how many people voted against a right. One that would not affect them personally.

I was dreading this. I thought & hoped we would prevail by a small margin, but the chance that Prop 8 would pass scared the shit out of me--and everyone else I talked to about my fears assured me that it had no chance of passing. Well, I've seen people here, seen all the Yes on 8 signs, and it just sickens me inside that that's what the majority of Californians do: discrimminate and hate. I loathe all the stupid fucks who say, "We don't hate gays! We just want to protect traditional marriage!" News flash: you are a fucking moron, a hate-spouting cesspool, and you don't deserve dignity or respect from others who wouldn't vote to take away your rights. Go have an anti-gay party together and drink poisoned Kool-aid and die. Please. I'll provide the Kool-aid.
