Settling In: It's Hot!
Last night, I dreamed that my dad had quit his job and decided to become a repo man. My dream self was distraught and telling him not to do it ("It's so dangerous!"), but he enthusiastically countered with, "Yeah, but the money's SO GOOD." The Wisdom of Life Exists in the Elimination of Non-Essentials
I haven't been online (or around) in a few days due to the removal of my wisdom teeth on Thursday. The actual removal wasn't bad at all, as I suspected. I was given 3 mysterious pills by my dentist and instructed to take one the night before my appointment and two the hour before. Break Continues...
I had an eye appointment today and am getting new reading/driving glasses, which is cool, I guess, 'cause it meant I got to try on a bunch of stylin' glasses frames. Apparently, my right eye has gotten worse, so that it is now 2x as bad as my left eye (although my left eye's sight is pretty good, all things considered). I'm really happy right now. I woke up today to a mostly empty room (still have to pack up all my clothes, but besides that, basically everything is gone), feeling really melancholy.
