The Wisdom of Life Exists in the Elimination of Non-Essentials

Jun 07, 2009 17:36

I haven't been online (or around) in a few days due to the removal of my wisdom teeth on Thursday. The actual removal wasn't bad at all, as I suspected. I was given 3 mysterious pills by my dentist and instructed to take one the night before my appointment and two the hour before. Well, I had a nice phone conversation with Sam right before bed on ( Read more... )

Well, look at it this way- you'll probably get some funny 'I was on drugs' stories out of this. Wisdom teeth removal is great for that! When Stevie got hers out, we managed to haul her out to the car, but then she fell back asleep on the way home and we couldn't wake her up to get her into the house, she slept there for like an hour before we finally managed to get her moving. Then there was her boyfriend Jon (we picked him up, since it was during the day and his parents worked, so Stevie was going to take care of him). He started singing in the car, but since he was so drugged up and had numb lips and tongue and cotton filling his mouth, nobody had any idea what he was singing and we couldn't get the poor guy to stop.

Haha, I knew was forgetting something else I wanted to say! Hope you feel better soon and the swelling goes down fast!

Thanks! None of my stories are quite as amusing as those. I have more stories of pain and woe than funny drugged up stories. *shrug*

Haha, not pretty at ALL in the first picture, and in the second, I had just come home from having my hair cut/styled (that's why it actually looks good!) so I was feeling pretty awesome right then.

When I had mine out, I was so drugged up that I started going through my mom's glove box attempting to prove to her I had the ability to read. Then my dad had to more or less carry me into the house.

Anyways, after I recovered, I realized that without my wisdom teeth my mouth and jaw have felt considerably better!

Well, that's good! Mine hadn't quite come in yet, but my dentist convinced me that really, REALLY horrible things would happen if we let them fully come in. Something along the lines of me having a mouth the size of a--er, something very small, and my wisdom teeth not having enough room to come in, thus resulting in the roots of the teeth growing *down* into my nerves and jaw bone instead of pushing the tooth out. So even if I don't feel better after this is all done, at least I'll know I would have felt a hell of a lot worse if it hadn't.

Yeah, I was the same story. A dent in my otherwise perfect genes. =p

I can't believe they actually made a 'swollen' mood icon.

You can actually write in your own mood (which I did) and then pick the mood with a (more or less) matching icon. Endless variations are possible!

Oh goodness, you are very pretty in that second picture. Also, you're probably allergic to vicodin, my mum is too, it makes her throw up. Ask for something else next time.
