Some pics from last winter
The past winter was a proper one with weeklong ice storms and strong winds.. Being the lazy cunt that I am I didn't take any pics but I did found these on my phone...uhhm I guess the snow was melting but the Sea was still partly frozen.. The lake was frozen solid.

romanian eggplant salad recipe
this is not my recipe but it's a pretty good way to cook it. It's delicious, I do have an observation: You can should use a food mixer. Just do the wooden knife/spatula stage then add the onions then mix ON THE LOWEST setting until it reaches a paste consistency and all the fibres are broken. also add the oil a little bit at a time ( Read more... ) -
Sometimes I wish
I were a night photographer in the film era. I love digital but etching a long exposure on film looks a little better and more real. Not to mention that the risk of freezing your ass of and ending up with overexposed missfocused or just plain black is ever present and part of what makes it fun.. Distilling time into it's essence.
