 Just watched The Last of the Mohicans for the first time ever, though I'd seen 5 minutes here and there on TV, I'd never seen this thing all the way through (and it took me literally 15 hours to do it, stopping and starting it throughout my crazy day with sick kids and all the household drama etc. - remember when movies only took 2 hours to watch ( Read more... )

Elizabeth Beck, attorney at law, rockin' the Casba' since 2010!

Short version - I had to pretend to be James' lawyer to get the damn Vitalchek people to freakin' send him his birth certificate, because apparently Public Records is a lot like the BMV - apathetic and...  nevermind.  Just know that I rock.

Organizational books recovered.  One was on the bathroom bookshelf (everyone has bookshelves in their bathrooms right?) and one was under the giant pile of crap on my table - no, the irony is not lost on me. :)

In other news, these are my favorite pix from the recent gay marriage to-do.  Had to share.  :)

Charles de Girl (as opposed to Charles de Gaul), as James calls her, is growing at the speed of light (I'm SURE Pants didn't grow this quickly!) - she's fat and happy and has found her smiles and giggles and is uber-pumped about being able to get her fists into her mouth and keep them there for any length of time.
