I love my dog
Running around outside with a malamute is not recommended. Apparently, he's faster and more agile than I am. Especially when I'm wearing flip flops. And when I fall flat on my face, he is not really all that concerned. As a matter of fact, it causes him to do a victory dance on my head as I'm laying on the ground bleeding. -
Bees!
I cannot currently allow my dog (Angus) outside unsupervised. He has found a bees nest, and he has declared war. They swarmed him yesterday. He was stung several times, but he was okay after I gave him some benadryl. Today, he went to the nest to seek revenge. He got them stirred up yet again, and I think he was stung once more before I realized ( Read more... ) -
Still have the plague
And since I have the plague, I took a long lunch. During my lunch, I watched part of a documentary called "Hell House." It's about the Xian replacement for haunted houses at halloween. Most of it's really kind of frightening, because I grew up around fundamentalists. I totally recognize the behavior of those people. Their certainty is frightening ( Read more... ) -

After three emergencies and absolutely no routine appointments (all animals were sick, so no annual exams or acupuncture), I was pretty frazzled at the end of the day.
