I really like Groningen. I just wish it was a little bit closer to everything else. I was vaguely planning a trip this coming Saturday, but didn't fancy travelling for hours in the train to get somewhere. I've already been to Leeuwarden and Assen. You should! It's so easy to do in Germany, too. For €30 you can buy a Tageskarte, which gives up to five people unlimited train travel in the state... and then the ICE is only a few hours to everywhere. I just wish I'd travelled more when I was in HH :(
