i've come to believe that all the cool people in the world this year dont have valentine's?

i went to walmart last night and the aisles were strewn with boxes of chocolate and cards, and balloons were in every shoppers' hands (ugly balloons, if i'm allowed such a comment) -- i decided the gifts were for their dying grandmothers and i felt better. :)
