Well, I didn't get into Michigan, or the summer program I auditioned for. Probably for the best, though. My friend just told me about a job opening that would be quite perfect for me, so if I don't get into grad school, that decision will be suddenly much easier. I went to church today, at St. Mark's Episcopalian Church. It's a lot more churchy than I'm used to, but I think I might be able to get used to it. I met some interesting people, with whom I ended up on a random roadtrip to Germantown. What a sad place. I would really like to think that I'm way too smart and feminist to be genuinely hurt when left out of a conversation about which sports car the women at the table most resemble. But I'm not.
