Well, it's approximately 1:30am now, and I'm awake due to having eaten WAY TOO MUCH pizza, fresh made potato salad (from the excellent The Garden of Vegan cookbook), and a Monkey Bar. What is a Monkey Bar, you ask?( Learn the horrible secret... )

I can't sleep: despite trying to avoid the news, I have been inundated with negativity. Thousands of people have probably already died...I'm not sure how I'll handle this stuff. It's all just so depressing.

A long train ride to my family's home and a longer train-ride back, but they're over and the past must be released lest it poison the right now mind. Not a lot to note, I suppose, except that my aunt (a beloved figure and like a second mother) may finally be giving in to cancer: she has a lot of exhaustion and stomach pain. We're snowed in! It's been droping flakes on us consistently for quite some time. We're supposed to get 20+ inches by tomorrow, which is exciting. I like the wild, unabashed forces of nature! Tense-tense-tense...up late checking my bank balance online even though I know it's fine. That is unsettlingly OCD for me, since that's not usually my particular mental problem. Sigh.
