halloween in new york

i had heard that it was about the same as Times Square at New Year's.
but you know.
i have never personally witnessed that
so i have no comparison really.
i can say this.
there was a point i had to escape into the subway to catch a train uptown just to be able to BREATHE!

but it was fascinating.
