Is there really a separation between the liars and those who truly feel love? I feel disillusioned sometimes, remembering love professed by people who I felt didn't understand the magnitude of the words they were using, who I thought were stepping on the name 'love'. Yes and no. I definitely think there are people who will say they "love" someone and not mean it at all. They're just using the word as a tool to get something else they want. However, I don't think that's who you're talking about. And yeah, I do think some respect is due to whatever affection is tied to the word. It's also okay to say "try to describe to me what you mean by love" and decide that the answer isn't what you want. It's just the problem of language. Yeah, sometimes it feels like people debase the idea of 'love' by saying it and not acting as we expect based upon our definition. But maybe, deep down, that is *exactly* what they meant when they said it.
