Let's see how far this much time took me towards Perspectivetown USA

You are all, every one of you, entitled to a lengthy eye roll and stern lecture regarding the return to Drama that this post heralds. I will expect it. But really, I don't think that anyone was under the impression that I wasn't thinking about this anymore. I just told myself I wasn't. New town, new life, right? Yeah, shut up and quote some bumper ( Read more... )

Yet another one of the Julie posts that was incredibly vague and leaving me going, huh? Could you possible give us a little more enough? Such as, who are you talking about seeing on lj that you hadn't seen for a year?

Seems to me that this move was a good idea. But of course, my opinion only matters when it echos yours! :) I dunno on the multiple "second-thoughts" thing. Seeing that I'm presently in my most successful relationship to date and no thoughts have been required thus far. I would definitely say that there is work involved. And because of that one is bound to find times where they are weighing the good against the bad and making a choice. (thumbs up on the lightbulb reference, incidentally) Also, I've tried to call you a couple times and always get your machine...so if you haven't gotten any messages from me, I dunno why and I totally tried! Okay, this is getting long. So in closing, I'm with Brandy...who you talking about with the Evil Whims? (Sean, perhaps?)

Ok, to clear up any (and apparently all) confusion, this post was entirely Ben-centric. I will attempt to occasionally use proper nouns in my posts from now on. :-P

umm, am I completely dumb? Cuz half a year ago would be May/June-ish. And I thought ya'll were together May/June-ish. Did you just mean you hadn't seen him on LJ? Or am I just COMPLETELY stupid in some way? And yes, proper nouns help!

More like, I didn't really recognize him for who he is at that time. Or, I was already checked out and dead inside, and therefore saw him only as this stranger who angered me, rather than Ben, as I once knew him. If that doesn't make sense, that's totally ok.

Ahhhhh. Yeah, sorry. Apparently I'm puddle-like these days. It hadn't occured to me to look at the statement as anything but literal. But it makes sense now. It seems, sadly, that it is surprisingly easy to just stop "seeing" someone.

Anything I write seems pretty insufficient ("gee whiz, I really appreciate your input, ya know..."), but I would like to say, simply, thank you. God bless you, too.

as much as i disagree with lemonduck and victory man on other things, i do agree with them here.

i just haven't said what they did because i don't see ben as often as they do so can't give quite as much detail(although it's pretty freakin obvious that he's miserable), i've been kind of wimpy lately and i have your friendship to lose over this whereas they don't as much, and also i thought i was just crazy and not accepting the times when i was thinking what they said.

oh and squishybad, i added you to my friends thing and am interested in eragon. let me know when you want to go and if i have the money i'd love to join.

I completely understand, respect, and appreciate your reasons for not having said anything before now. I do all of those same things for your opinion as you have now stated it. I. Think. You're. Awesome. And I've kind of gotten off the subject, but that's ok. The video was very...enlightening, and if you have not already, I recommend that you read Eragon before seeing the film. It's a quick read, and very enjoyable. Wish I could be there to see it with you guys.
