california was beautiful. i walked along the los angeles coastline, crossed mountains and spent the day in the desert, met a ton of amazing family members for the first time and learned more about myself and my history than i couldve imagined would come from a five day trip. for instance, i learned that i'm related to spanish royalty. the story

i feel like the o.c. theme should be playing in the background of this post! sounds like you're having a great time. i meant to reply to so many of your posts; i'm so glad that you worked things out with jonno; my relationship ended at the same time as yours - hopefully i can reach the same kind of amicable ending as you have. i'm glad spain was really good for you - globe trotting is always great! i'd imagine california is just beautiful & old family stories are the best! really helps you kindof find a sense of self or something, i don't know. for me, it's reassuring to now that i'm just another dot in a line - but on a line nonetheless!
