And you as well, Xavin.

I confess I'm not familiar with Tarnax VII, or with Skrulls.

I cannot say that I am surprised to hear that. I spoke briefly with your Captain, some time ago, and he was not familiar with my people, either. I suppose we do not exist in your universe of origin. Tarnax VII no longer exists in my universe, though our Empire still inhabit some fifty planets throughout various galaxies.

Like Vulcan...

I'm sorry for your loss.

And you as well, Sydney. The library is praiseworthy in its scale- I think everybody should see it at least once while they're here.

You know quite a bit- I'm impressed.

I'll make it a point to visit.

I'm not fluent in ever single one listed but I would manage to get by for the most part.

Good- just keep an open mind when you do.

Did you learn on the fly, then?

No need to apologize, Yamato-san- not everyone is fluent in multiple languages.

Heliopolis?

Please, call me Kira.

Heliopolis was a neutral space colony. Whether you were from Earth or the PLANTs, you could visit there without any worries.

All right, Kira.

I'm familiar with space colonization- it is common in my world- but not the PLANTs, I'm afraid.

Not a quitter, huh? ...Though you might never actually make it out of there.

Name: Edward Elric
Place of origin: Amestris
Species: Human; though heads up, that doesn't mean much around here
Native language: Amestrian
Any additional languages spoken: No.

I have a little more confidence than that, Edward.

And human does mean something- it's still a species. But thank you for the warning.

If you could explain a little about Amestris...I'm not familiar with it.

The Library might be nicer to you than it was to me. And if you want to be general about it, then grouping all humans into the same classification here might make sense. I've been finding that it doesn't.

Amestris... is a landlocked military state in the world I come from. We've been at stalemate with three bordering countries since our founding.

What kind of place do you come from?

One can hope.

I suppose 'human' carries more weight when you deal with alien species on a daily basis.

I see...in my world, state and country is still important, but planet of origin is also a factor.

You're welcome. It is beneficial to gather as much relevant information as possible, when entering into unknown surroundings.

Understood. I do not think many others here know it.

Yes, I agree.

You're most likely correct- and it is a shame.
