The passing of Duane McNeilly

My grandfather Duane McNeilly passed away today around 3 PM, peacefully, in his house, surrounded by loving family. It was exactly when, where and how he had chosen. The aftermath of his death had the expected high emotions and crying, but it was punctuated with laughter and gallows humor, which is exactly as he would have wanted. It's just a pity

I knew your grandparents!

We met your grandparents in Virginia City when we walked into their shop. It was as if we had known them all of our life, an instant friendship. We were married a few weeks later in their home in VC. They were amazing people and we are truly sorry for the loss of your grandfather Duane. We would have been at the services had we known. I would love to see your grandmother again. I sent a card but have not heard back from anyone. I realize she may not be able to as the Alzheimer's has most likely taken its toll, but we would really love an update and to be able to send her our love! We truly do love her!
