It was a great day, if a little disappointing for Kate who had broken her collarbone 2 weeks ago at Galway and so couldn't race with the 'magnificent 7' who were comleting all four UK/Ireland Iranman events.

It does sound great. Was it supposed to have been Bangor and got switched to Tenby?

Well done, Norm. Poor K - how did she hurt herself?

It is so good to see you posting here again.

Broke her collarbone at IronmanGalway two weeks ago. Came off her bike and instisted on completing the half-marathon run.

I post every day on Blogger. Normally it's more reliable but it let me down when I first tried to post this entry there.

I must edit the header post here to reflect the fact that it's not a very active Blog. I keep it for WriterConUK and the fact that it's a permanent account.

Well done to Norm and Kate - I've been following their Ironman adventures via your FB/Twitter comments (and that collarbone looked really painful, poor Kate).

I'm glad you were able to join in the celebrations.

Thanks. Kate was quite disappointed at not completing the 'ultimate challenge' of all four Ironman events but was less devastated than she expected.
