excellent fic is excellent. but there are definately a lot of typos, grammar issues and moments where your sentence structure made me go "huh, what? i know what you meant, but..." i can point them out if you want me to, but i think you'll find them if you go back and do a read-through.

loved the depth you gave Sixshot here; he doesn't get enough of that. you totally did the characters justice here, no worries about that.

*sigh of relief* I'm glad it's good, I was worried to the point of paranoia that I'd done a horrible job on it. I think it's the fact that someone else requested it, and if they didn't like it then it'd feel like I failed in a way.

And I'd greatly appreciate you going over this. By the time I was done with it, I was completely burnt out; I had stared at it for so long, by the time I posted it, I was nearly going cross eyed.

Sixshot is one of my favorite characters, and I hadn't had a chance to work with him 'till I saw this prompt and he all but bludgeoned me over the head with it.

*insert reader slowly swooning out of chair, smacking onto the ground*

Do you have ANY idea how long I've awaited this pairing after reading the graphic novel!?

You're so...so awesome! All your fics, and this one especially takes the cake. What a wonderful piece of work to read after coming home from work. Excellent! Fantastic! Hope to see more.

*insert pile of embarrassed/pleased author goo* Shucks, you're making me blush.

Funnily enough, as much of a tendency I have for pairing Ratchet with just about anyone, even after reading the novel, this particular pairing never really crossed my mind. I ,uh, also have this strange weakness for wanting to write different, odd and/or rare pairings.

I'm immensely pleased you like it so much, as stated before, I was extremely anxious about this. I'm almost kind of tempted to write more for this little verse and explore it a bit, I just don't really know where to go from here.

I'm going to be grinning for ages because of this comment now.

Hmmmm...that would be interesting to see how you explore this verse.

Especially if, say, Sixshot gets his claws into the medic again. Or even if you take another twist into the whole series, and change a few things. Like say the Decepticons actually win or overthrow the Autobots...Myself I've only considered the idea because I *heart* MegatronxOptimus Prime, and after a particular comic book image from the IDW collection (right before Megatron punches a hole in Optimus' spark when they're in...Russia or whatever cold country it is...)...*melts into goo*

Pfft...You're talking to the girl who considers almost every pairing imaginable, especially with Perceptor (and I can not forget Red Alert or Optimus Prime). The scientist is one of my all-time faves, and I'm ( ... )

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out how that particular little reunion would go. So far, none of it's real pretty. If the Decepticons actually won or overthrew the Autobots and took some as prisoners, oh boy. O_____o What about the Terrorcons? How would they react to Ratchet? They certainly wouldn't like it that Sixshot's attention was focused more on an Autobot than on them. Especially an Autobot who is also a medic ( ... )

*also offers to point out typos* But other than that.... *whistles* that's one well written fic you have there.

Your chase scene, just, your chase scene. I normally don't get caught up in those. But jeeze, when Ratchet couldn't run anymore it took me a moment to process that, you had me so completely. Your continued use of detail really helped with that, and I thank you because its been ages since I've gotten so enthralled in a chase scene no matter how much I love them. Too many are not just done well enough for me to stop thinking, stop analyzing the story, instead of going with the flow as you're supposed to.

During the reading I was thoroughly immersed in watching Ratchets mindset, but later when you switched points of view I got dropped right into Sixshot's fierce, untameable head. THAT is very rare, and it took me a little while to pull out of to be honest. Sixshot is a heady feeling.

*goes back and rereads fic* Yeah, that's all I can think of to say at this point.

*squirms in delight*

I'm beyond happy that this fic is going over so well, I honestly wasn't expecting it. And please, if you would point out any errors, I'd appreciate it. The more to go over it the better the fic will be. I want to cross post it to one of the other communities 'cause the love of Sixshot needs to be spread.

The use of detail is most likely why I'm pretty much physically incapable of writing anything small. The chase scene is what came to me before any of the rest, and it's what made me claim the prompt in the first place. I swear the chase scene has nothing to do with the hunter (or prey) in me, honest. XD.Sixshot IS a very heady feeling, after all, he's one of the strongest Cybertronians around, so much so that Megatron actually put an emergency off switch in him. Even more so with the fact that he has a whole combiner team at his beck and call. I personally think the Terrorcons are far more loyal to Sixshot than Megatron or even the Decepticon cause, and would follow their hero where ever he went ( ... )

The pointing out of errors is sent. Unfortunately going over a fic in analyst mode makes it difficult to enjoy it as I would in reader mode.

Oh don't I know it. I live for detail. When writers don't give me enough, I fill in the gaps. And then I get confused when that door they mentioned opens the wrong way from what I pictured. For some reason I feel ridiculously pleased about that. The hunter/prey definitely came through loud and clear in your fic, and it wasn't why I really liked it either. *eyeroll* Sarcasm? Nooooo. *snerk*Like I said, I just don't get dropped into character's heads. It doesn't happen more than a few times in a year, and that is being generous. Especially not to the extent as happened here. It's one reason I prefer writing about OCs, I understand them so much better ( ... )

I know what you mean. Some of the fics I read I automatically compensate for them so much, that when someone points out an error or something, I don't even see it the first few times, since my brain automatically glosses over minor errors and the like.

Pleased that the chase scene came to me first? The whole predator/prey aspect was one of the other main reasons I took this. Then again, Sixshot practically tackled me out of my chair and demanded this be written. So, who was I to refuse? Ratchet, understandably, wanted nothing to do with the whole thing. I'm kind of the opposite, since I can get into canon characters heads better than I can with OCs, even my own, the stubborn buggers.

I feel so absurdly proud that I was able to do that. *eyes Reflector fic* Hmmm, if I can get even a small bit of the same reaction I will be pleased beyond measure.

*pouts* No, I didn't get Andromeda. My friend landed a once in a life time job at a horse ranch (one of the kinds you drive by and wish to just be able to look around) and she started ( ... )

*dances with glee*

I'm so pleased I was able to make it how you wanted it.

And thank you for submitting this prompt. I had wanted to participate in Spring Kink on one of these rounds, but none of the prompts had ever struck me quite like this one had.

I've gotta say, I absolutely love this fic. So. Damn. Good! I have read it 3 times already and just bookmarked it too. If you should ever (please, please, please!!!) decide to continue on from here you would make my life. Seriously. Or at least my day lol.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you like it. ^_^ I don't think I've ever had any of my work bookmarked until now.

I AM planning on continuing this. Just that it's going to be put on the far back burner until I get some of my other projects done first.

Also, I'll be updating this with a new, better and improved version soon. So keep an eye out for it.
