I'm still angry about the house - we own it, having paid for it, but the land was not registered as it should have been - the first procedure has been to secure our interests in it (and that of our mortgage company). If I ever bump into the conveyencer I will not be held responsible for my actions.
The positive side (if I can call it that) is that we were not a unique case with this firm.
I hate it when people don't do their work properly and leave others with a big, fat, expensive mess. If I showed that kind disregard to professionalism, my boss would NOT be happy. Is it too much to ask that people just do what they're supposed to? Ugh. You have my sympathies.
Did I read that you had started a job? How's the language going? I'm really sorry I was so busy when you were over - the dates completely passed me by.
