So, I moved into my new place on September 30th and since I'm sick of Comcast fucking me over on a daily basis (including today when I tried to return my equipment and they were closed), I'm forgoing cable and internet in my place. So Chicago, and the Midwest as a whole, has had some incredible weather during the past week or so. It turns out my friends' house was hit by a tornado. Their house in the city, in Uptown, actually. Camping!
I just got back from a bit of camping in Wisconsin with Patrick, Malora and Chris.
Observation #1: Wisconsin is cheap, cheap, CHEAP for groceries.
Observation #2: Wisconsin is home to delicious cheese curds and even more delicious beer.
Observation #3: By the first two observations alone, I want to move to Wisconsin.

too tired and sweaty to be upset right now
I've been FRUSTRATED lately for reasons that are boring and unnecessary to elaborate on, so I went for a nice, hard bike ride this afternoon and now I'm all tired and sweaty and endorphin-y and all I want is a shower and to stretch.
But at least I'm not obsessing. Have I mentioned how much I love my bike? God, what would I do if I couldn't -
I am bored with food, please help!
I am lazy. I have screwed up relationships with food. I believe in eating seasonally, eating locally, and keeping my intake of animal products low. I'm also poor. All of this means...I'm bored and eating really poorly ( Read more... ) -

I am repeating a pattern and I don't know how to break myself from it. I know what I'm doing now, just like I knew what I was doing then, and I'm just as miserable.
