Not exactly Alfred's best plan... anonymous August 3 2009, 04:24:32 UTC
This anon likes to think that Mexico is America's Belarus.

This anon would like to see Ivan and Alfred somehow ending up in the same hiding spot, where Alfred gets the brilliant idea that he and Ivan should get married so their respective stalkers will leave them alone.

Only Alfred has no idea what he's gotten himself into before it's too late.

Bonus 1: Belarus and Mexico team up to try to crash the wedding but they fail epically

Bonus 2: They succeed in crashing the honeymoon, but with bad timing and they barge in on something embarrassing *winkwinknudgenudge*

Okay, this is my first time posting to the kink meme, so I hope I don't fail too hard.:P

It was a beautiful morning. The birds were chirping merrily outside the open window and a few gentle rays of sunlight lay over Alfred’s sheets as he opened his eyes. It was a Saturday, and he had the day off. There were so many things he wanted to do, and he turned over the possibilities in his mind. Yawning, he sat up in bed and reached over to grab his glasses from the bedside table. But, to his surprise, his glasses weren’t there.

That’s funny, he thought. I swear I put them there last night. Maybe I knocked them on the floor. He lowered his head so that he could look over the edge of the bed. But what he saw there was not his glasses. He saw an arm. And then a leg. He realized that there was a body under his bed, scrunched up in a very awkward position. Suddenly, it spoke…

“Buenos días, hermano! Como estas? Alfred nearly fell off the bed in shock as a tall, tan-skinned girl pulled herself from under the bed ( ... )

I didn’t need to know that, Alfred thought despairingly. He bit his lip to keep from being sick. With one final outburst of energy, he managed to finally pry his southern neighbor from his body. The sheer force it took to do this would probably leave bruises on Mexico, but knowing her, he figured she’d probably enjoy bragging about them later. While she was still stunned from the gesture, he snatched his glasses from her hand in one quick motion, and leaped off the bed victoriously ( ... )

As a Mexican I don't know whether I should be offended or completely amused XD
I choose the latter just because I find this fic hilarious! (although for the record... We are not like that... at least most of us are not like that XD)

And I know you wrote this a long time ago but I'll say it anyway:

The window was open: La ventana estaba abierta ^^

That's all

Safe in his hiding place, Alfred couldn’t help but grin madly. A part of him knew that he should save his brother Matthew from such a horrible fate, but the other part of him, and the part that ultimately won out, was the part that was just glad to get Mexico away from him. He wondered when Mexico would figure out that it was Canada she was molesting, rather than him, but he figured it was best to be as far away as possible.

It was only then that he sensed the presence of someone else there behind the dumpster. He froze, afraid to move, even though he knew that Mexico was otherwise occupied.

“I see you have one, too, da?”

Russia, unmistakably Russia. Yes, now Alfred could make out the coat, the scarf, the childishly round cheeks, the pitiless violet eyes. Of all people to find myself sharing a hiding place with! Alfred lamented. Could this day get any worse ( ... )

“What?” Arthur screamed. His face was redder than one of Spain’s tomatoes. “You did what?!?!”

“I’m getting married to Russia!” Alfred said cheerfully.

“He actually agreed to marry you?” Arthur scowled. “Who would want to marry you?”

“Yeah! Our bosses have been trying to get us to have a better relationship for awhile now, and I guess this counts.”

“You do know what marriage means, don’t you, Alfred?” Arthur rolled his eyes.

“Yeah! You go to a church, and a preacher guy says some things, and then you exchange rings, and then go on a honeymoon…”

“You idiot!” Arthur cried, grabbing the front of Alfred’s shirt. “Marriage means you’re stuck! You’re agreeing to stay with the same person forever! Do you have any idea how long forever is?”

“But if you don’t like it, you can just get divorced after awhile!” Alfred reasoned. Arthur muttered something under his breath about ridiculously high divorce rates in a certain nation, but Alfred didn’t really hear it. “That’s what Austria and Hungary did,” he added.

“They were forced apart by ( ... )

Mexico had hardly ever seen the girl, let alone spoken to her, but when Belarus showed up on her front porch in hysterical tears, Mexico had to feel sympathy for the poor dear.

“Hola! It is Belarus, right?” she asked the girl with long blonde hair.

Belarus nodded, too distraught to speak.

“What are you doing here?” Mexico asked.

“Oh my God? Didn’t you hear! It’s horrible, horrible!” Belarus bawled. “My perfect brother Russia is marrying that horrible brat America! Tomorrow! Tomorrow, Mexico!”

The pierced through Mexico like a bayonet. Russia…marrying…America…America…marrying…

“No! No! No! No!” Mexico cried, dumbfounded. “You’re lying! Tell me you’re lying!” She took Belarus by the shoulders and began shaking her furiously. “Tell me you’re lying!” she screamed.

“I’m not lying!” Belarus sobbed. “I heard it from Latvia who heard it from Poland who heard it from Italy who heard it from Germany who heard it from France who heard it from England!”

“America can’t marry Russia!” Mexico yelled. “He’s supposed to marry me “ ( ... )

“Boston.” Belarus answered. “I heard it from Lithuania who heard it from Greece who heard it from Japan who heard it from China who heard it from…”

“Ah, maldito!” Mexico interrupted. “All the way in Boston?”

“All the way in Boston!” Belarus wailed, grabbing on to Mexico’s shirtsleeves desperately.

“Oh, mierda!” Mexico sobbed into Belarus’s shoulder. “How are we going to get Boston by tomorrow?”

“Just listen to me. I think I have an idea,” Belarus whispered.

A/N: Damn word limit. I was so close!

Is it bad that I totally ship Mexico/Belarus after this?

Anywho, the Spanish translations (I hope):

Confiar en mí= believe (in) me
muchas cosas importantes= many important things
maldito= damn it!
mierda= shit!
