There have been fills about the critters other countries appear with (Canada and his bear, Australia and his koala, England and his fairies, think I saw one about Iceland and his puffin) so how about Russia with that little snowman Himaruya drew him with?
Since Russia didn't really have any friends when he was little (except for his sisters) he would build snowmen and pretend they were his friends, giving them names and talking to them...and then getting inconsolably heartbroken when his friends melt in the spring and die. Or when the Mongols/Sweden/Poland/invading army of your choice shows up and kicks his snowmen over just to make him cry.
Bonus: He still does this in the present from time to time, when he feels really lonely. Bonus Bonus: Someone catches him doing this (talking to the snowmen, being really upset when the snow melts, etc) Bonus Bonus Bonus: That someone is America.

I found this, and died, because it sounds so cute. I really want to fill it. But I'm sort of afraid that I won't finish this, or this will be really bad. So I have posted this as a sort of prologue, and have a few ideas for what will happen, but I would love some feedback! This was written quickly, so please excuse any grammatical errors!
And the Russian - the very basics, from what I have taught myself, please correct me! - is this: Пётр - Pyotr, Russian equivalent if Peter. Привэт - Privet, Hello! Как дэла? - Kak dela? How are you? Булат - Bulat, another Russian name.
Hope you will enjoy it!Russia heaved the huge ball of snow towards him, then attempted to pick it up and heft it into place on top of his friend's body

Poor lonely Russia. ;_;
I'm proud of myself - I recently bought a book called "Russian for Dummies" and I knew what Как дэла meant and how to pronounce it, without looking at your notes beforehand :D

Family stuff, yay! This chapter will be solely Russian family stuff, so... He will get back to his snowchildren, and I do have some angst and stuff planned out, so bear with me. Also, totally over-done story next part. Yay... Hope you enjoy! ^ ^
As he slowly gained consciousness, numb all over but happy, he found that he was too hot, and inside his house. His movement was restricted by a thick blanket, which he slowly pulled off after realizing it was what was making him hot. He rubbed his eyes, small hands balled into fists to try and cover his whole eye, and take the sleep away. When he looked up, he found that there was a fire crackling merrily away, and Ukraine was kneeling in front of it, prodding it. Russia yawned, and noticed a drink on the table. He took it, looking incredulously at it as if it would bite him, then put it down again

Sorry - I totally overdid this. I didn't mean to, but I got caught up in it... Next chapter is solely Russia though. Also, sorry for the wait, I lost Internet. I hope you enjoy this anyway!"Well. It all began many years ago, with two friends. A boy, called Ivan," She motioned at Russia, "And a girl, named Natalia." She motioned towards Belarus, whose eyes lit up slightly, even if her face remained stoic

He needs a hug, like right now.
This is such a great heartbreaking start, I am almost afraid to read the next chapter because it's probably going to kill me with sad face Russia :(
