Goodbye, Brother [1/?]

The first time America meets England, he’s barely tall enough to graze the older nation’s waist with his fingertips.
England is so big and so tall and so new that at first, America doesn’t know what to think of him. There are others, but they don’t hold his attention as intensely as the green-eyed man does. They are interesting, because they are also new, but they don’t have that something. that makes England so fascinating to America.
England, interesting looking England with his sandy blonde hair and vibrant emerald eyes that remind America of the plentiful forests of this land he’s come to call home; the first time they meet, America wants to touch England, and see if he’s as fun to pet as his bunny friends. England makes so many strange faces, but they are so interesting America wants to see more of them. He wants to see all of them. He wants to see all of England.
America has been alone for a long, long time; in fact, he’s been alone for so long he can no longer remember how he came to be. He almost doesn’t remember

I love this so far. It's really sweet, and I can't wait to read more. Good job, anon!
I like the idea that there was a time when England actually lived with little America. His leaving is so incredibly sad to me, though. But it makes sense that he once spent a great deal of time with America, and that was how they bonded. And America never forgot it, and never really got over it. OK, I'm going to cry if I keep thinking about this.

I love your style and the fact that you put in a plot. While I like PWP I usually feel less dirty reading/writing something if it has at least a semblance of a plot.
So long story short, there are five internets embeded in this post, just for you.
Dear OP, this is an anon who has been stalking this prompt and fill. I noticed that the Awesome!author!anon had updated this fill in the Past-part fill post, here is the link :D

England, you twat; you don't leave such a lovely bundle of cuteness alone. Fuck the empire, this is more important.
I have a feeling America is going to see a very different England face soon
