[Part 22] The Reflection - Once Upon A Time Crossover- RusCan, FrUk and more

Hetalia x Once Upon A Time inspired fusion/crossover. It doesn't have to be a complete fusion in terms of character types or their relationships, as long as the general themes of the show are kept - specifically past and present lives, no one able to enter/leave the present day town other than "special" visitors, and having to break a curse that prevents those in that town from finding happiness. It could be cardverse characters in the present day, general fairytale AU characters in the present day, canon nations reincarnated as humans, etc. The main theme should be they're under a curse, leading different lives as a result, and someone special has to break it.

Bonuses:
- preferred pairings: GerIta, FrUK, Ameripan and/or Giripan
- Russia and/or Belarus is who casts the curse, but they're not truly evil
- if you would like to attempt a complete fusion/crossover, that's fine too

I love both FrUK and RusCan, so I'm excited to see those pairs show up later!
and I also loved the reference to Belle and the chipped cup!

That was brilliant A!anon, I am really looking forward to more. The writing flowed well, I loved the dialogue and interactions and atmosphere so much, they seemed really naturally and the ending was appropriately dramatic. :P

Also two of my OTP's? And the North American bro's looking to be central characters? Words cannot express how psyched I am.

Once upon time in the middle of a forest, there lived two brothers. One was quiet, as soft and striking as snow. The other was cheerful, as bold and memorable as a rose. Their only companions were the animals of the forest and each other…It had been two months since their mother had left and Matthew was beginning to think she was never going to return. He didn’t tell Alfred of his worries. Alfred, being as he was, would want to charge off and rescue her no matter the dangers

Another Time, Another Place

Snow White and Rose Red took the advice of the stranger and fled the forest they had always known for a one far away. From time to time they would go into the local village and they would hear tales of their old home and how it was afflicted with a strange unending winter and were glad they were no longer there. For years they lived in peace until one day a knock sounded at their home…

“It’s probably Linda,” Alfred said cheerfully. “She said she might stop by with some butter. Apparently their cow’s doing well this year and they have extra.”

“She fancies you,” Matthew said fondly, moving towards the door.

Alfred looked horrified. “She’s a decade older than me! You must be joking. Please tell me you are.”

Matthew was still laughing when he opened the door. The laugh fell off his face and he stumbled backwards when he realized that what was at the door was not a pretty yet too forward village girl but a bear. A strangled scream escaped him as he searched around for a weapon, the creature bearing down

I love the weaving in of the other setting and how the writing shifts to reflect it.

Rose red and snow white hahah, it fits with them I think, I love finding out what the different characters are in the other world. Arthur as the mayor though? I did not see that coming but that is brilliant and makes sense actually.

These updates really make me smile, I read it when I was supposed to be getting ready for work and so couldn't comment right away but it was a welcome start to the day.
