Spain would have to have been blind to not notice Romano’s unusual mood at the meeting a few days ago. While he knew that his oblivious attitude could get the best of him quite frequently, there were times when the Spaniard would actually notice something of relative importance to himself and those close to him

This is nice, so far. I like the atmosphere in Spain's dream, and the fact that while he's still his oblivious self, he still realizes something isn't quite right.
