Estonia gives him odd looks from the moment they leave Russia’s study, all the way along the dusty trek up to the attics.
“Go on, say it,” Lithuania groans at a particularly significant glance.
“All right, then,” Estonia says agreeably. He stops and leans against the wall, pushing his glasses up with one finger in a dear, familiar way before folding his arms. “Were you out of your mind? BrothersLithuania has to admit Estonia has a point. The three Baltic states might be close geographically, but they look nothing like each other. Estonia is closer to being Finland’s brother than he is Lithuania’s, and he looks it. Latvia - well, it’s still too early to tell. Lithuania knows that Latvia’s going to grow up precious little like either of them, but he’s still small enough and his features changeably young enough that maybe Lithuania can fudge a little, to ( ... )
