In the land of Spade, it is tradition that the King is blindfolded during the wedding ceremony, and the wedding night. Not allowing to see his fiance/husband until the next morning.

Alfred has no idea who he is arrange to married, but wishes he could marry Prince Arthur.

Bonus: During the wedding ceremony, Alfred starts to panic thinking it might be Ivan. :O

Alfred wasn't sure how much more of this he could take before he snapped, the Queen kissing his way up his spine to nibble again at his ear.

This is so sweet but all I can think of is Alfred waited for Arthur (he's still a virgin) but Arthur obviously didn't. :/

Yeah, because Alfred totally can't be his One True Love if Arthur happened to sleep with other people before him.

Their backgrounds and pasts can be and probably are completely different. People aren't any less worthy for not "waiting for the right one". Being experienced doesn't degrade a sexual experience. Virginity isn't the ultimate proof of devotion.

Angry because if I was the author, a comment like this would be hurtful and discouraging, and it definitely can't be counted as constructive criticism.

Wow! I just love your writting style A!A I could read it all day, I'm looking foward too last chapter and how you'll write the big reveal. Great realistic view too on this chapter. I just loved it!

A!A I apologize for the wait - still no computer - and also for the typos and grammar errors, I don't have anyone beta-ing this and I'm pretty awful for it (as seen when I constantly go back and edit my non-anon stories) Also I might give up numbering things.

When he woke, he looked down at his sleeping partner's face with a strange sense of satisfaction. There was joy, protectiveness, fear and so much he couldn't name, couldn't begin to describe all rolled up into that overwhelming feeling.
Alfred looked gorgeous like this, his hair mused, skin darkened in places from the love bites he had given him, slightly swollen lips, their cum dry on his chest... The night was like a dream, he wished he could have seen the other's eyes but there was something about seeing the dark blue cloth contrasting with the redness of his skin, his face twisting in pleasure, his chest heaving with every new sensation he, him and only him, gave him.Ace, he loved him, he couldn't quite believe he was here, that this was all real ( ... )

So when the ship was captured by the Spades Navy - luckily he had proof that he had never taken part in any raid and was essentially a prisoner - he took his chance for liberty and gradually made his way back to the capital. By this point he was well versed in nearly any type of work having been paying his way through odd jobs and luck struck when he offered to act as an apprentice for the local smith in return for lodging. When he worked hard and had explained to him what happened, the kind man gave him a few extra coins and he was able to barter passage on a cart going to the capital instead of walking the rest of the way ( ... )
