Since there are fifteen posts left on Part III, and I don't want to collapse commenting any more than I have, I've decided to finish the fill for this over here. I hope that's all right with you, mods.

asdfghjkl anon you're amazing~ and England ;_; cries for his fairy friends and Kiku! and Greece! oh please finish that story. D':
it actually fits well that Kiku's story doesn't finish with this one, and I LOVE parallel stories! and are you gonna write that bit where Kiku stays behind to fight greece? and the kitty spirit! ;_;
The story was amazingly well written even tho I couldn't quite pinpoint some of the crossover references until later. but even that works out fine.

...It's...it's over? No more checking obsessively for updates, biting my nails in anticipation and sitting on the edge of my seat? What will I do? OH GOD ANON, THAT WAS THE MOST WONDEROUS STORY. YOU ARE MY RULER. MY KING ARTHUR. Also. Somehow, I always knew what Arthur's sacrifice would be in the end...DX

As sad as I am to see this story come to an end, I am so glad you finished it. It is an amazing piece of work, and it was an absolute joy to read, writer-anon.
I must say, I absolutely loved the way you twined the xxxHolic verse, Greek mythology, and everything else together so intimately and flawlessly. I love the way you hinted at certain things, so that those who actually knew the verse well would catch it and have that moment of realization at how perfectly that little detail works into the story. I admit, as I had not known what the crossover would be, I flipped out when I realized who the Magician was. "Characters for April First", indeed.
When I first started reading, I had no idea what a treasure this would turn out to be. I applaud you, writer-non, for this very well written piece of work. Well done.
Out of curiosity, are you ever going to be posting this in your personal journal? Or will you only be updating Kiku's story?
I actually will be posting this to the Hetalia comm. I just want to give it some time to age and put some distance between it and myself, so that I can come and look at it with fresh eyes along with my beta. There are rough parts that I caught even while I was writing it, and I need to go back and fix those.
I am so glad that you enjoyed this. Thank you for reading along and commenting.

Not only is this one of the best fills on the meme, I believe I've read (and enjoyed, more or less) original published fantasy stories that weren't as good. Of course something being fanfiction gives it a certain...advantage over original fic, but nevertheless, a very enjoyable read, thank you anon. ^__^
The way you threaded all of these stories together was very commendable. <3 Will love to read how Kiku's story continues (because my heart broke not a little when they had to leave him behind ;_;), but take your time by all means. It's allready pretty awesome you've taken so much time to write this story. :)
Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment.
I really enjoyed threading the stories together - one of the things I enjoy playing with is the notion of connecting things. Mythologies and folklore already have some threads of similarity; it's just a matter of weaving them together. I'm happy that people weren't completely turned off by my incorporation of CLAMP elements - one of the things I enjoy doing is taking fandom cliches and seeing if I can do them right. Whether or not I succeeded, I'll leave up to the anons.
Once again, thank you for reading. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the story!

Ah, Anon, I've been following this since part one like many others. That was a thoroughly satisfying ending, and I have to admit I teared up when I got to "You were worth the sacrifice." *iz an unabashed sap*
Thanks for taking all of us along this epic journey.

Oh, oh. This was just so wonderful in so many ways. I started following this only a three days ago, and I'm so happy that I did! I'm also happy that you finished before my trip, haha.
But this was beautiful. I'm one of the few people who don't keep up with any CLAMP works, so I was a little lost regarding that, but the myths you've woven into the story and the execution of it was amazing. Thank you, Writer!Anon for writing this. It was a delight to read. ♥
The original prompt and previous parts are here: http://hetalia-kink.livejournal.com/4567.html?thread=6574551#t6574551.
A-and so that this post isn't entirely a waste, I did a quick sketch of the concept art I had for Alfred as Caliban.
