I want to write fanfic about Austria, but I'm unsure as to go about writing him that doesn't solely revolve around pianos. Anyone have suggestions as to write his character well?

Umm.. erm... he likes all splendid art and music, not just piano. There are tons of other instruments I think he can play, plus he sings too... maybe that's not what you wanted but hope I helped ^^

in my headcanon, he can ouido any instrument on earth (is that how "ouido" is used in English? OTL)

I've been trying to write Finland for ages, and I got the hang of him just now...

how do you guys think he acts while drunk?

Some people put him as a different person, more carefree and daring, to the point of topping Sweden (who'd probably enjoy it anyways ¬.¬)

Besides of the speech slurring and lack of balance, he'd be a little daring, how much? I don't know. I don't want to risk it

can anyone please give me advice on writing a sad/sorry/nostalgic Germany while still keeping him in character? (he always breaks out in angry bursts everytime i write him OTL)

My headcanon sad!Germany it'd be one that it spaces out for hours, musing about what made him sad, what he could do to solve the problem he has, or in case he is remembrering he'd think the "what if?" of the situation. Some example it would be:

"He gave up on filling papers, tossing them aside, before hiding his face in his hands... how he got into this mess? It isn't enough with having Gilbert off in battle, Italy against him, Kiku fighting against Alfred and on top of that, losing the war? He sighed mournfully. All the things he thought he knew, what he was told, all of them were just a lie, a big lie that got him a mess he didn't want to clean, a mess that it would cost him greatly. Ignoring the headache and the backache that came form time to time, he resumed filling out the papers on his desk. "

First! Candada, he wouldn't like to risk it with France.

Canada would say to take him/her to a romantic date. NO McDonalds, and depending on the person, go to a fancy restaurant, restaurant-bar, movies etc.

considering the amount of romantic movies, and follow the wise advise of Hollywood, he'd try to make "romantic" the way there are in the movies.

England without his Tsundere mode?... that's a hard one. Like a normal british person I guess, is pretty much like the same, just without getting mad at France and/or America.

Ukraine in a serious tone, well, get rid of the tears, put a serious visage, probably something that resembles her siblings' dark faces, but not as creepy as Russia's or downright scary as Belarus'.

Depends on the situation. If it involves Old Fritz, he'd talk with a lot of respect that would be OOC if it was someone else.

If it is about West, well, it'd be like a overprotective brother talk, because he seems like that kind of brothers.

Now, if you are talking about a break up or something love-related, with the break up would be more of moping around and remembering the "awesome times". If he fell in love, he would say that the person in question is almost as awesome as him and something along that line, and he seems the cuddling-type of guy. That's how I see it.
