What is your basic goal in life? What would you and your rival most likely be competing for? In general, I would like to be able to graduate college, get a stable job, and have a stable, middle-class life. My rival.... ....I suppose an audition for a school musical, or a position in a club, something like that. Not really contests, I've never been in one and I don't think I will later on.
Would you taunt your rival openly? It depends on if the rival is my friend or not. If the person is my friend, I would more likely tease the person. But if I don't know that person, I wouldn't taunt my rival at all.
Would you taunt your rival quietly or anonymously? I would probably do it quietly, I'm not really the type to taunt people though...
Would you resort to dirty means to beat them? No. I don't see the point of using dirty ways to beat someone. It's another way of saying you lost to them. Even if you beat that person, I wouldn't find pride or anything in that win.
Let's say you lost to them. Would you be a good sport about it? I would smile and say congrats to the person. But inside I would probably be REALLY sad. I would probably be in some corner alone, feeling like I fail. Or something. If it was something I was really confident about, I would be crying or something. XDDD;;; But then in the end, I would accept that the person was just better, be a bit jealous and I need to try harder.
If you won, would you boast? Nah. I mean, I would get pissed if they boasted in my face if they won. Of course I would feel giddy inside, but boasting isn't really something I'm not too good at. Although, I would like a compliment. XD;; It would make me feel good inside.
ABOUT YOUR RIVAL
Would you prefer them to be sneaky or obvious about competing with you?: I'm kind of middle in that one. I would like to know who I'm competing against, but then I don't want to because if I knew who the rival was, I would feel like they'll win and I have no chance.
Do you want them to be good at whatever they're doing? Some like a challenge, after-all~: Of course. I wouldn't be competing if they weren't better or on the same level as me. ._.
How would you want them to act if they won? As I said up there, I wouldn't want the person to flaunt in my face they won. I would feel really pissed. (And then angry at myself that I lost to someone like that XDD)
How would you want them to act if they lost? Hopefully not too bitter D: But I would always like to compete with that person again. A good competition allows you to improve at that field.
Would you like him/her to be your friend after it was all said and done? Mmhm! If I like the person and they like me I would definately want that person to be my friend! Besides, having a rival for a friend would be fun. It would definately spice up the friendship!
If you found out they cheated, would you be upset? Would you alert others about it, or just suck it up? I would be upset and will probably go for alerting others. >/ Fair play c'mon.
This may not relate to your goal, but let's say... There's a wonderful prize for winning! Your rival has a very sick mother and needs the prize money to pay for the operation! ...Would you lose on purpose? ...I wouldn't loose on purpose, but I would give the money to the rival afterwards.
