Finrod....is not a zombie. Surprisingly. Possibly very surprisingly considering his typist. But in any case, he is once more 100% alive, breathing and everything, and is near to the spot where he died. He's not sure why he's there, he remembers losing his sword in a wolf during the fight and possibly he means to see if it's still there. In any ( Read more... )

Would he mind a nosy adopted relative who doesn't know he is one? Armand had no idea Finrod was dead, just that he hasn't seen him around, so when he does see him he follows, calling out when he thinks he can be heard, "Hello there? Do you need help?"

Never, he likes Armand. Finrod does hear and turns with a small smile. "No, I'm alright." And he is, he's just getting over the whole dying by wolves again thing, there's not quite the same light in his eyes that there usually is. That shouldn't last too long, though. "How are you, Armand?"

Armand gets closer, smiling tentatively.

"Oh, I'm fine. I just haven't seen you around for a while."

"That's because I haven't been around. But I'm back now." He doesn't want to say that it's because he's been dead for a while. "How have you been?"

Edrahil is mildly fixated and has been spending a fair amount of time out here, restless indoors. (He appears to have avoided the zombie invasion: more power to him.) So as it turns out he's already there, a solitary figure at the base of the tree, standing with his hands clasped behind him and looking generally discontent. Not yet looking, however, in Finrod's general direction.

He sees Edrahil and stops a short way off, just watching him for a few moments, reflecting on what happened and on the conversation he had with his brother shortly before the incident before calling his name, softly but just loud enough to carry. "Edrahil."

He turns sharply, eyes widening as he realizes who it is, hardly believing it. "Finrod-? You--" He would sort of like to run to him, but the more practical course is reaching out to lean a little on the trunk of the tree for just a moment.

He smiles a bit and nods. "I know." He shrugs. "I came back." He certainly wouldn't mind Edrahil running to him, he's resisting running over to Edrahil as well.

Cue, then, a younger brother finding him at some point on his walk (it's a path well-traveled, evidently); coming up from behind to embrace him tightly -- he doesn't need restraint. "Hi. You need to stop doing this."

Finrod turns and hugs his brother back, just as tightly. "I don't try to. I'll do my best to avoid it in the future." He smiles. "How've you been?"

"I for one would be very much obliged." He squeezes him a little more before stepping back somewhat. "I've been pretty much alright."

"Good." He fuzzes Angy's hair and smiles. "I'm sorry I worried you."
