Finrod is walking alone near the edge of the woods, as he often does. He's not too far into the trees, he can still see the mansion from where he walks. He enjoys the quiet and openness, though he also enjoys sharing that with a friend. He wouldn't mind company, in fact he'd welcome it.

Following the disasterous encounter with Morgoth, Finrod is stiff, sore, guilty and angsting a bit. Two cousins dead, more injured, one pulled after Morgoth into the void. Findarato, back to his proper age after the last crackplot he ran into, is standing on the poorch watching the snow fall. He's enjoying the quiet, but he wouldn't mind some company if anyone were to come along.

Finrod is out for his semi-regular wander around the grounds, and what makes this time different is the smile on his face that just won't go away. Remember that crackplot? Yeah, Finrod is still 'Fred.' Fred has, at least, managed to get his hands on some bandages, a crutch, and maybe a bottle of painkillers, so he's now able to hobble around under his own power without too much pain. Findarato is currently, at the most, eight years old. And currently climbing a tree. He hasn't gotten very high yet, but this particular branch isn't as sturdy as it looked and it's already swaying alarmingly. Aid and/or company would be appreciated.
