Man oh man oh man. So, I’m back in Asheville, as of one week ago, and half-jazzed about summer classes. Only half- because biology is really horrendous and tedious, etcetera etcetera, and because I have to leave way too soon. And ‘cause I’ve spend my past week living the hermitic lifestyle: waking early, speaking with the fewest people possible

otherwise, my favorite madonna video is bad girl, directed by the guy who did fight club and starring an oddly sexy and scary christopher walken as the angel of death.

My hair's already nearly halfway down my back; I don't know what to do with it. I always want to chop it all off and donate it, but it's so low-maintenance this way, and I am a very lazy person. So yes, long hair! (For now!)
Ooh, I haven't seen that video. Once I've got a working computer again, you can bet I'll YouTube it and be amazed. I'll definitely get back to you. ♥

I want to see this dress! (One of my dreams is to someday own a really pretty white dress so I can look like springtime.) Glassblowing! Latin! Falling in love! (Was this with S?) I keep watching clips from Loving Annabelle, and it's all your fault. Thank you.
I really like all of those videos, especially "Ray of Light". Hmm. My favorite is "Like a Prayer", though, because of all the silly controversy over it and for how triumphant and joyous it is! Well, either that, or "Justify My Love", which is just maddeningly hot, especially the part where she bites her finger while walking down the hallway. She has so many good ones, though!
I miss talking with you. The second my computer's fixed, I plan on fixing that. Hope everything is really spectacular, your way!

Yes, that was S. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie, I saw a clothes boutique called Annabelle the other day and had to think of it.
Things are hectic and challenging. I feel quite fine, most of the time. Hope to talk to you again soon.

That's such a gorgeous sunny-weather dress! Both of them, actually! And you are lovely! And I am exclamatory!
I think I might have a slight Lolita complex, but I'm working through it. Mostly. I'm sure that Annabelle will help me with that, um. Challenging is good, although tiring and not always what one needs, but definitely the stuff 'zines are made of. Which is to say, it would be awesome if you wrote another 'zine someday.
And now, I am really off to read and stormgaze! Take care, and we really will talk soon! ♥

my summer is so packed. i've always been the type of person to have a fully planned summer, sure, but just once i'd like to have real FREE TIME, for an entire week at least. oh well, i can dream. maybe in retirement.
on that note, i'm going to california for sure now in july. my mom's freaking out about me being on a plane by myself, but i think that's the most ridiculous thing to worry about. i'm more worried that my relatives won't like me, there will be nothing (that i like) to eat, my aunt will be disappointed with my dance skills, and no one will take me to church (they're all jewish). maybe i'd be better off just focusing on the plane.
i love you, i hope everything's going swell, and i'm sorry i don't have answers for more of your questions.
p.s. i have an appointment for a haircut on tuesday. but you can pretend you don't know that.

I was really proud of my boat; I put a lot of love into its construction. I don't even have tape, so I had to use taht sticky poster-mounting stuff to hold it together. And my room is very cozy, if very minimalistic. There's a Myrtle Beach picture on the wall that I like to look at. It may involve a certain dragonmaster. That's all I'm sayin'.
I wish that Myrtle Beach was making your summer more hectic; I'm going to miss you! But the California news is thrilling! Your family will love you, and your aunt will be impressed, and you can always turn to cannibalism if you have to. By this, I mean, you could start eating yourself - not your family members or strangers you come upon. Yeah.
I love you, too, so bad, and miss you immensely! Thank god for eljay and MySpace, though! How much of your hair do you plan on getting cut? And does this mean that I have to go through with what I said in my entry? Daaaaaaaaamn. We'll see, we'll see!
P.S. I still can't believe you hate Titanic.

i so wish i was going to the beach. it's WEIRD, not going. i've never been home for the fourth of july ever before in my entire life. so it should be an experience. no singing in elevators, sure, but i'll get to go to dani's birthday party for the first time.
i hope california's everything i need it to be. i am fifteen, after all - the year of change?
i miss you like crazy too, and i'm only cutting 2-4 inches more off my hair, don't fret. i just figure, if i'm going shorter, i want to go shorter. if that made any sense in the least. but heck - keep your long hair. heaven knows the world needs more rapunzels.

p.s. you really need to get over the whole titanic thing. and in the meantime, watch this, if you haven't already.

I miss the dragonmaster. I love how things like that just happen in the summertime, in Myrtle Beach. 98 Degrees magnets appear and strangers in hot tubs want to drink and tell round-robin stories and people who don't even own inflatable dragons try to teach you how to mount one. It's beautiful. I hope this year isn't a let-down ( ... )

Well I'm going to head out, going to watch yet another corny love movie, because that is what my weekend has consisted of, lol. Talk soon, okay? Miss you.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god, Ashley! Talk about news! That is ridiculous.
I'm really, really glad that we just talked. I miss you, and demand to be kept informed of upcoming events, 'kay? I'd indulge in Wedding Weekend, too, but the gorilla show is starting right now, and I have my loyalties. We will talk again soon, because I have to ask your advice on something, sorta-kinda. In the meantime, I think you should encourage more awkward communications with your grandmother, because I like hearing about those. Or, you know, find a way to send me that mix CD, because I have a feeling it's gonna become my favorite! Love you!

Call me anytime. I'm always available for you. It was good talking again and I'm sure there will be more conversations that my grandmother just begins that will lead to awkwardness, don't you worry, lol. Talk soon, much love!

I love the way your bed looks, and your hair, and pictures of you, and you. Did you ever end up reading maxplanck? Because that's what paper boats will always remind me of, from now on.
I love you. I'll talk to you so soon, okay?

My bed is a lot lower, this time, and it made me think of your nest-bed. I really, really love my room. And am ambivalent about cutting my hair, still!
I was all set to read it, and even started, but then my computer broke. This was back in the day, although, hey, look, my computer is still broken. But maybe when I get it fixed! Because I mean to.
I love you, too, of course. And am around always, reading Shakespeare to myself and cursing biology, so whenever you're around, I'm up for talking. Hope it's warmer in Erie by now, and that things are so, so good, your way, because they really should be.
