Astrology is total bunk.  How could the position of astronomical bodies at the time of one's birth possibly influence personality characteristics?  For that matter, how could planets and asteroids as seen against the background of distant constellations have any effect of terrestrial events?  And anyhow, the astrology we know in the west has been

Astrology is an odd case for me, as I put no stock into whatsoever, yet the "Gemini" personality archetypes match me to a T, I don't know much beyond my "sign" (the aforementioned Gemini) but the accuracy of it is eerie. I tend to attribute it to statistical demons, but I try to remain at least somewhat open minded about all claims. (an entry about my opinion on such things and science here

It seems like we share a similar viewpoint on astrology and various forms of divination. That's not terribly surprising to me, we seem to have a lot of similar opinions and views.
