While I was driving, Noise had used the Marriott website to sort our selections down to rooms that were in a certain category (only 10,000 points), had microwaves and fridges, and free high speed internet.

Well, on Sunday we left Memphis around noon - sleepyheads - expecting to be in Pittsburgh around midnight.
Apparently, Tennesseans have no clue how to drive in snow.

Traffic on 40 was very slow going. Crawling. Stopped and only starting for brief seconds at a time.
Then we noticed two vehicles off on the side of the road.

We made it to Memphis around 7 or 8.

Stayed at....a Marriott - using the points I was refunded for bad internet service.

This time though - it was a Spring Hill Suites. VERY NICE. And fast internet.

Also a pool and a hot tub. :)

I worked today, and around 3pm we headed into town.
